Announcing the promotion of Admiral Warp.

Postby Tavey » Fri Mar 19, 2010 12:35 am

It is my honour to announce that on the evening of March 18th 2010, Fleet Captain James Warp was promoted to the rank of Admiral in recognition of his hard work and dedication to the SLA.

There are few words to convey how deserved this promotion is. Warp has worked hard to keep this organisation going. He has never sought formal recognition for his time, his energy and his skills. Instead he has been a strong and true foundation for the SLA for many years. His love of Simming is evident in every session of the USS Potemkin, and in all the patience he extends to those around him.

In fact, his XO, Prax Jarvin was under standing orders not to allow this to happen. Oops.

CONGRATULATIONS ADMIRAL!

For the transcript of the event, please check the USS Potemkin area on the forums.

Tavey, Tavey, Tavey... First off, thank you! Second off, I knew I shouldn't have turned my back on you! ::Chuckles:: In all seriousness, many thanks to you and the Council. I could protest, but as I told Prax, there's an old Vulcan proverb: you can't fight city hall. ;)

Thank you, and always remember that turnabout is fair play! ;)
