Hey everyone-

As part of my duties as recruiting chair, I'm responsible for new sim creation. The SLA has experienced a great period of growth in 2008, but now we're looking at a new era for the group's cornerstone. With the rebirth of the Star Trek franchise, there's a question that needs to be asked.

Should the SLA expand their Trek offerings? If so, into what kind of sim?

I just saw the film in the theater. It is good. I am very much in favor of looking further into that timeline and what the changed wrought would mean to that portion of the universe.

I haven't seen it yet, but I know about SOME of the changes, and I think it'd be very interesting for a sim.

If the SLA put together a Kirk/Spock era sim, who would join? From the looks of it, it doesn't matter the setting, but people want to see that era.
