"Come about 1-3-1 Mark 2-8-4", orders the Captain.
"Fire all torpedos", orders the first officer.
"Shields down to 64%", says Ops.

The Borg cube attacks, firing, and disabling a nacelle.

"Port nacelle is venting dry plasma"
"Target phasers on weapon systems"
"No effect"
"Shields are offline"

"All hands, Battlestations"
"Sir, one transport was made"
"Who?"
"Alex Ducane"
"Get him back!"
"Sir, the borg cube is moving away"
"Pursuit course"
"The cube has gone into transwarp"

<on the borg ship>

"Starfleet Officer, Captain Alex Ducane. Service number, 1-4-3-Beta-Kappa-Eight. 29th Century Timeship Captain. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile."

The Borg walks forward, Alex kicks out, knocking the borg backwards, but is met with a swarm of five... The tubes are extended and Alex swivels his head to the side, the borg restrain him and hold him upright.

Alex pulls his arm down, grabbing a Borg and launching himself in the air. He lands away from them, and climbs up a bulkhead to an upper level. He walks forward, swivels round and knocks the Borg off a ledge, to the ground.

Walking carefully forwards, he glances left and right. The Borg sirens are wailing, and a noise behind him alerts him of a Borg. He turns around, and the Borg fires the assimilation tubes into Alex's neck.

Alex is assimilated by the Borg.

Sounds like a fantastic addition, Alex! It really makes me wish that we could do the Borg storyline next, but we do have to put Jake out of his misery first! He can't keep his character mad at mine forever! LOL! :-D

Vengeance One

The USS Zealous, according to a Federation Charter set up a year after the Luna Incident which resulted in the deaths of four point five million Federation citizens.
The Charter states, that all Nano Augmented beings be quarantine of Tau Ceti V pending investigations and research analyse.
Through their own fear, the Federation and the rest of the Alpha quadrant rounded up all of the nano augmented beings (Jake Sjet, Zania Ja’arda and so forth) and imprisoned them on the one time home of Khan, in a effort to contain the growing nano logical infection. And for a time, this Chicken little protocol seemed to work, but when the Zealous arrives (Captained by Commander Dillard) the ship is hailed by the make shift colony. After a long talk with the make shift colony director (Zania) a Zealous away team is beamed down, protected by a personal force field to prevent accidental contamination.
Once on the ground, the away team meet the Zealous crewmembers they were forced to abandon, but all is not well. Son after their arrival the away team is snatched, and forced to help the nano augmented beings take the Zealous as their own. But that is by far the least of their worries.
For with time, came patients. And the people of Tau Ceti V have had time to build a weapon of unparallel destruction. Can the Zealous crew stall these anger-fuelled zealots? And perhaps somehow travel back through time and stop the signing of the Federation Charter…

Lost In Space

“If we can’t go around the sun, then we go right through it!” the famous last words of Major Don West, but what would happen if one of your own were to state them?
With the help of the Zealous engineering team, who helped turn ancient diagrams into working plasma conduits and such, Jake Sjet has been able to reproduce an Iconian slip space engine. And while energy hungry, slow to recharge and not as subtle as the original of his past Sjet trusts in the translation of the instruction manual. When the engine is test fired off the ship it is transported instantly from the Zealous’s current position, to Earth, and back again in the space of the blink of an eye.
If the effect can be reproduced on a starship, warp drive would be come obsolete, the wooden horse drawn carriage of the 24th century sitting next to a lightning bolt.
But as the Zealous moves out of the testing area she is suddenly pulled backwards as a sub space sink hole forms directly in the spot where the sli space engine had been fired. Barely able to fight back the holes pull they watch from a safe distant as the local star system is dragged into the hole one ton at a time.
Can the Zealous make it back and stop the same fate happening to earth? Or will they get there in time to help with the evacuation?
