Please welcome aboard Ensign Tom Adams, who will be joining us as our new Science Officer! I wonder what discoveries he is going to make while on the Zealous . . .

Maybe he'll find the reason why we're all clinically insane? If not that maybe why if you put two socks into the washer you only get one of them at the end?

Maybe if he does, he can figure out a cure. But that's if anyone really wants to be cured! LOL!

How can I say this tactfully....NO! Vaskel would go nuts because all the windows would break when Dillard reached a high note.

How about another discussion, we can do Favorite Food. I would have to agree with Troi for mine, that is to say anything with chocolate.

I was just thinking in the Artists Guild they were doing logos for the Games of the SLA I think it wouldn't be cool to have one with a Promethues class vessel and it sayin USS Zealous 59653 Pugio in Averso Belli. Although the last post in that section was in May but even if it can't be done I'm sure there is someplace that would do it.

As the co creator of the sayying, I say go for it. If the Enterprise crew can have a logo on thier uniforms maybe we should? Set us a part from the rest of Starfleet.
What do you guys think to that (think squadron patchs for a fighter unit only for starfleet.)

I agree with you with that one, Mr. Vaskel . . . definitely just about anything Italian (for favorite food), especially pizza. The richness of the sauces, and blending it with cheese, makes it a delight for the tastebuds!

Chocolate is not only a great treat, but some actually use it as an aphrodesiac! It's been proven to help stimulate a part of the brain that helps to make people happy!

As for your idea with the banner/logo, that's not a bad suggestion! I think, though, that if anyone has Photoshop, we could create something on our own as well. The Artist Guild may have their hands full once they get the list of awards we're proposing, provided they do graphics for all of them.

ANOTHER MILESTONE!

That's right everyone! We've reached another pinnacle in our posting on the message boards. For the month of August, so far, we've amassed 309 posts!

Do you know what this means?

Not only have we just overtaken the Centauris, who was the second highest e-mail game with posts on the boards, but we're well on our way to 400 posts!

Again, I want to commend all of you for the outstanding job that you are doing both on the ship and here in this forum! This was the best welcome home gift that I could get, coming back from my short vacation and family reunion.

Anyways, here's another recap of the forums which currently have more posts than we do:

Voyager - 712
Lexington - 853
R&D - 923
ST General - 1027
Potemkin - 1295*
Lounge - 2469

* = combined number between logs and general

Once again, great job everyone! Keep those ideas coming, and the conversations flowing!

Here's a question for all of you. If you could visit any one city or place in the world, where would you go and why? Do not talk about the place where you live - that's cheating! LOL!

I would have to say either Rome or Paris. I've always wanted to see the the Louve, the Arc de Triomph, the Coloseum, the Parthenon, etc.

For me, I think my choice would be Hawaii. Just from the pictures that I've seen, there is a lot of beauty within the islands that comprise that US state.

Anyone else? Where would you want to visit?

I've actually had the pleasure of going to the "Big Apple" once, almost 20 years ago. I saw a lot of the sights, including the World Trade Center, but I never had an opportunity to go up to the observation deck.

After what happened on 9/11, it kind of makes me wish that I could have gone back to do that. I guess I'll just have to settle for the Sears Tower instead.

Good pick Taneth! I love the mystery of the ancient Pharoahs and the pyramids. Plus, it's a great tie in to Stargate!

Indeed. There's gotta be a set of rings that the usaf hasn't put under guard.
