Three hours have passed since the initial holodeck training conducted by Commander Crow. To say the least, people seem shaken. Those who know Earth history are familiar with the enemy, the carnage, and sheer atrocities that can and will be committed. Those who know this history or are now familiar with it should all be at the same conclusion: Take them out for good.

The Triad comes from another time. From our past dealings with them, no moon or planet is too big or small for their needs. The more they conquer, the more they convert or eliminate. They have no qualms about killing us, you, or anyone else for that matter if you do not fit their mold of the perfect being or are not willing to share their beliefs. Quite simply, we are at war. These enemies are smart. They are attacking smaller worlds with little or no defenses. They are expanding their base of power. They chose the Lekkuran system for the resources that can be harvested...precious metals and assorted ores. I wouldn't be surprised if we were to come upon a shipbuilding orbital base out here and those ores were meant to supply that base or other bases. We have yet to ascertain if the Triad is aware of our presence. They will know soon enough.

Training continues in the holodeck to get all personnel up to speed and up to date on their combat skills. Initially, we will be fighting them ship to ship. Taking out their air support will severely limit their defensive capabilities, at least that is the thought. Without knowing how long they have been here, we do not know how "dug in" they are on the ground. That will come later. For now, let's find them and eliminate what ships we can. We do not know much about their ships, how many they have, the types and capabilities, weapon systems, etc. First things first, we will recon what we are up against.
